Happy Earth Day!!

Ladybug did her part in celebrating Earth Day this weekend.  She helped Mommy plant tomatoes.  She also had a wonderful time @ the park w/her daddy!

Ladybug gave me a big YES!, when I asked her if she wanted her nails painted.  I couldn't resist doing her toes, too & my nails of course.

This is a new nail polish that a friend gave to me.  It comes with a magnet & it creates a design on the polish.  I really enjoyed the way it looked, but it was a lot of work, b/c it dries really fast.

It's Party Time!!!

Today Ladybug had her family birthday party.  We had so much fun & it was wonderful to see our family and friends that drove in to see her & help her celebrate her birthday!  We are so blessed to be able to parent her.  She did much better at this party & actually wanted to participate in the games that were played!

 I wanted her to pose in her Cookie Monster outfit, but she was very interested in everything else that was going on at the party & this is the best I got.

The goodie bags we made for the guests.  They were filled with Sesame Street coloring books, Sesame Street flashcards, snacks, Sesame Street snack holders & Sesame Street cups.  I made the faces on the bags myself w/card stock.  The visors of course were made w/foam.  All of this came from Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby & the Target $1 bin.  I'm a thrifty Momma!

 Everyone enjoyed themselves and enjoyed all the good food that my wonderful husband made for the party.

Ladybug had a great time with the Oscar the Grouch egg toss her father made for her.  We used eggs, b/c it was close to Easter, so we decided to incorporate Easter into the party.  After all.....I went into labor on Easter Sunday with her!

She actually played pin the nose on Elmo!  Notice she opted to use the blindfold this time!  Thanks to her great Daddy that drew the face!  It was a great hit!

Happy Birthday, Ladybug!

Today my baby turned 2!  She started off the day very excited it was her birthday.  I have to admit, I was pretty excited, too.  I really like planning her birthday parties & selecting her theme and outfit.  This year the theme was Sesame Street.  I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible, but sometimes that isn't as easy as you would like or think it would be.  But, I managed to get it all done in time for her to have a wonderful birthday party at daycare.  The pictures are listed below....enjoy!

She didn't understand that she was not going home, so it took her awhile to calm herself down.  She cried during her birthday song, but she worked it out & was okay!  = )
